Battery-Powered Wired Thermostats

Our wired battery thermostats suit installations with compatible thermostat wiring between the room controller and boiler.

The TP608 uses two AA batteries or USB power and provides weekly programming, a backlit display and temperature calibration. Battery power supplies the controller; the wired connection carries the heating demand signal to the compatible boiler interface.

868MHz Wireless Thermostats

A wireless boiler thermostat communicates with a paired receiver, which is wired to the heating equipment. This arrangement reduces the need to run thermostat cable from the occupied room to the boiler.

The TP608RF provides 868MHz communication, programmable schedules and wall-mounted or desktop positioning. RF communication does not itself provide internet access.

Wired WiFi Thermostats

Selected wired WiFi boiler thermostats combine a wired boiler connection with app-based temperature control.

Match the Control Interface

A gas boiler thermostat must match the boiler’s external control terminals. Volt-free contacts, switched-voltage inputs and digital communication connections have different requirements.

Send the boiler make, model and terminal diagram so we can review a suitable thermostat configuration. Two terminals alone do not establish compatibility.

Separate Power Supply from Control Output

A thermostat’s supply voltage does not automatically identify its boiler output type. Likewise, a battery-powered room controller may communicate with a separately powered receiver.

For wireless sets, specify both the room controller and receiver requirements. Check the receiver’s wiring and contact rating before connecting it to the boiler.
