1. How do I calibrate my thermostat if the displayed temperature is wrong?

Enter the configuration menu (usually by long-pressing a button for 7 seconds while powered off), locate the calibration setting (Function No. 1), and adjust from -9°C to +9°C. For example, if the thermostat displays 22°C but the actual room is 21°C, set calibration to -1°C.

2. What is "dead zone" or "switching differential"?

The dead zone (also called hysteresis or differential) is the temperature gap between when the heating turns off and when it turns back on. For example, with a set point of 22°C and a dead zone of 1°C: heating stops at 22°C and restarts at 21°C. A smaller dead zone gives tighter comfort but more frequent cycling; a larger value reduces cycling at the cost of slight temperature variation.

3. Can the thermostat work on both 110V and 220V power supplies?

Yes, thermostats with a 95–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz power specification work on any mains voltage worldwide — covering 100V (Japan), 110–120V (North America), and 220–240V (Europe, Asia, Africa). No transformer or voltage converter is needed.

4. What is anti-freeze protection and why is it important?

Anti-freeze protection automatically turns on the heating if the room temperature drops to a dangerously low threshold (configurable 2–10°C). This prevents water pipes from freezing and bursting during winter when the property is unoccupied. It is critical for holiday homes, rental properties, and buildings in cold climates.

5. What is child lock and how does it work?

Child lock disables all touch buttons on the thermostat to prevent children or guests from accidentally changing settings. Activate by pressing and holding the designated button for 7 seconds. Some models offer a configurable lock mode where the power button remains functional while all other buttons are locked.
